Elimination Communication (EC)

Mummy has been thinking if she should start potty train me early as my cousin – xinying jie jie was totally diaper free after she was 3 months old.
Mummy thinks me should be able to be diaper free at early age as well.
About a month ago, Mummy did some research online regarding infant potty training and she came across Diaper Free Baby website.
It is about elimination communication (EC) between parents and the baby.

As the info in the website is quite limited, Mummy only ECing me during diaper changing time and before night sleep.
However, I did not pee even Mummy made the shhh sound for very long and I was also getting reckless.
After few tries, mummy was feeling to give up.

Fortunately, Mummy found the Diaper Free Baby book at Yishun library.
After reading it, Mummy got the whole picture of ECing and she also gets the ideas on how to EC me.

So every night before sleeping, Mummy still bring me to the sink to pee, I would not pee even Mummy make very long shhhh sound.
She only managed to catch one pee out of ten attempts.

Last Saturday, Mummy let me to go diaper free at home. She brought me to pee every 20-30 minutes and we did it this time.
Mummy caught all my pees and even my poo.

Last Sunday, Mummy also managed to catch all my pees.
As my bumwear is totally dry as mummy was ECing me after nigh bath, so Mummy let me wore the bumwear to sleep.
When I cried for milk @ 2am, Mummy was shocked that my bumwear was totally dry then she immediately EC me.
Daddy said” Baby, when you are sleeping, you can just pee, don’t hold you pee, ok!”

Hopefully I will be graduating from diaper very soon.
It could help to save the cost of disposable diaper and Mummy will have lesser bumwear to wash as well.

Sharon Yiyi's Wedding

7th Dec 2008 was Sharon yiyi’s wedding.
Mummy has been hesitating if she should attend the wedding as she will have to bring me along.
It is quite troublesome to bring me along. At last, she still decided to bring me along.

The dinner was held at Holiday Inn Park View @ Orchard Road.
There were a lot of uncles and aunties which I never met before.

Mummy's ex boss - Uncle Alex. All the uncle and yiyi can't carry me for long except him. I am really hyper, jumping and turning, none of them can stand, after a while, they passed me back to Mummy. Thanks to Uncle Alex for helping Mummy to carry me and play with me.Got Daddy's taste. hehe!

I snatched the paper from Sugi gorgor. I loves papers, books, magazines and newspaper.

I was having Heinz Rusk. I don't understand why everyone was looking at me.

I only slept for half and hour as it was very noisy. After the dinner, Uncle Steven drove us home. We only reached home around 11.30pm. Wow..so late!!

7 Months Old

Time flies, I turned into 7 month on 29th Dec 2008.
There will be very little photos at this month as Mummy’s camera spoilt after I threw it on the floor.
Mummy is still waiting for my god mother – Bena to get us the new camera.

Here is some development of me:

1. I am now able to crawl on four legs.

2. Mummy and Daddy went to KL for 4 days 3 nights and I was staying at Irene yiyi’s house. When they fetched me, Mummy said I look fairer and my cheeks are so pinky, Daddy said I looked chubbier. One important thing, I manage to get myself up into sitting position when they were away. A big gift for them.

3. Once I could sit, I eager to stand up with support every now and then, for instance, in baby cot, on the mattress – holding daddy and mummy who is sleeping to stand up after the mid night feed, holding the sofa. I also could walk a little bit with support.

Hopefully, we could get the new camera very soon.

To prevent me from falling down from the mattress, whenever I am playing on the mattress, Mummy always uses the pillow and bolster to block around. At this moment, I still unable to climb over the pillow and bolster.

So sad, limited space to move around.

My First Teach Time Gift Set

Mummy bought this learning set for me. Initially Mummy was thinking to get Fisher Price, but it is quite costly. So end up, Mummy got this set for me @ more competitive price. Some more, it comes into 3 different kinds of learning set.

Happy Anniversary to Daddy & Mummy!!

Good morning everyone!
Ain't I look like Dian Siao Er in this hat!!

Time flies, Daddy and Mummy has been registered for a year.
It was Friday, but Daddy and Mummy did not send me to Irene Yiyi’s house in the morning.

On that day, Daddy and Mummy brought me to IKEA with them.
When we were walking to the bus stop, I saw many buses and cars on the road; this is my first time for seeing so many cars and buses.
I was so curious to look around and ignore both daddy and mummy.

Wow, there are so many cars and buses!!
Daddy was helping me to style my hair and he also became human dryer, kept blowing my hair.
I was completely attracted by the busy scene on the road.
Taking bus for the first time. It was so big.
Busy esploring and looking around the bus.
Once reached, we had our lunch first.Mummy was super hungry since she has not taken her breakfast.
Mummy brought along my lunch – fish with broccoli.
This is the first time we have our lunch together, normally only me and Mummy.
Hope Daddy could spend more time with us.

After lunch, is time to browse around IKEA.
Mummy found this little mask and put it on me.
It is a mouse mask, so coincidence, I was born in the rat year too.

Both Daddy and Mummy were so excited to see me in this.

Little rat was eating his fingers..After that, Mummy tried to let me wear other mask, but I refused.

We back home around 3pm after Mummy got her mirror and high chair tray for me.

I was tired and sleepy. I still don't know how to sleep myself.I only can sleep while nursing or rocking. I will fall asleep also when the pram is moving.

Daddy and Mummy sent me to Irene Yiyi's house when we reached Yishun. They were going to have seafood buffet dinner @ Ritz Carlton Hotel. Yummy yummy...

Hopefully next year I could join their dinner celebration, but maybe by that time, I still can't take seafood.

Fell from Mattress

One night, after I slept very soundly, Mummy carried me out from the sarung and put me on the right side of their mattress. As I was sleeping, mummy did not use the pillow to block around me. After that, Mummy stepped out of the room.

Who knows, after 30 seconds, I fell to the extreme left of the mattress.

Mummy feels very sorry for this incident.
Luckily, I did not get hurt.

Am I too active, even turning around in sleeping mode.

Meet up Khai Seah Yiyi

Khai Seah Yiyi was in Singapore for business trip. She has been coming to Singapore for few times,
but we did not manage to meet up.At last, we met up @ Orchard.

Once we stepped out from the Orchard MRT, there was a uncle who was playing "er hu" talked to me, he said "Boy boy, you are very good life hor, still put your leg so high".So funny.

Mummy and Khai Seah yiyi were having lunch @ Food court ,Ngee Ang City. It was so hot that I kept making noise. Mummy has no choice but to carry me while eating.

After eating, Mummy and Khai Seah yiyi shop around Ngee Ang City . There were so many pretty jiejie and aunties looked at me and trying to play with me. Mummy says I am aunty killer.

After that, they went to Wisma Atria shopping.
Finally I felt asleep after their 4 hours of shopping!

This is my first trip to Orchard. Next trip should be Christmas time.

Turning on bouncer

Once I know how to turn, I try every opportunity to turn.
Now, I even want to turn on the bouncer.

It is no longer safe for me to lie on the bouncer alone.

Spiky Look

Due to hair loss, since 5 months ago, Mummy did not comb spiky hair for me.
Mummy hopes my hair can grow more so she applied some Martell on my scalp.
My hair is standing because of the Martell.

Crawling

I started to crawl when I am around 6 months and 2 weeks old. Still can't crawl very well initially, however, when I want to reach my toy, I will try to roll to the toy.

Mummy's colleague's baby only knows how to crawl backward, luckily I could move forward.
Else, it will be very funny.

Milking Time

Recently, when I am hungry, I always scream and shout loudly.

Sometimes, I also scream loudly when I see the milk bottle, can't resist to the temptation.
